About Individual Therapy
I use a Person-centered theory during individual therapy. This therapy is One-on-one with the client. The overall objective is to facilitate change in the quality of one’s life. The process is a resource for clients who struggle with mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Individuals can learn to cope with stress, interpersonal problems, grief, anger issues, and low self-esteem throughout counseling.

Couples Therapy
Couples Therapy or Marriage and Pre-marriage Counseling
The aim of treatment is based on the concept that psychological disturbance arises as much from conflicts between persons as from conflict within a person. You would find that this is not as profoundly probing, intensive, or as prolonged as individual treatment. This counseling is a short-term attempt to repair a damaged relationship by dealing with the here-and-now issues rather than reconstructing the past.

Couples should seek counseling when: Communication has become negative, they do not know how to resolve their differences, both of you begins to act out on negative feelings, or feel that the resolution appears to be separation, but may think that you need to stay together for the sake of the children.

About Group Therapy
When three or more people are being counseled, it is considered Group Therapy. The goal is to help clients to learn about themselves and improve their interpersonal relationships. The clients and therapist talk about related information that will relate to the entire group. The overall objective is to reduce social isolation, increase feelings of support and caring for others, aides in developing successful coping skills, and enhance the exchange of emotions and thought feedback, self-esteem.
